David Lloyd Warren has been in design-related businesses for over 25 years. Starting as an architectural illustrator and later shifting to graphic design, he founded his own design firm in 1978 and won over 100 design awards throughout the years. His design work has been published in numerous national and international design books and magazines.
In January 2000, David began studying ceramics, attending classes and workshops to expand his knowledge and technique while incorporating his extensive design background. "I love the creative process," David said "and clay is a perfect medium for exploring form and craft. I realized my strength is really in 3-d, not 2-d forms and I love the challenge of making that transition. Good design is relevant regardless of the medium or dimension. Clay also allows me the ability to realize the potential success of a form quicker than other mediums."
David relocated to Bend, Oregon in January of 2006.
