Clay Architexture is about the exploration of form and surface; the ambiguity of form as object - object as form and pushing the boundries of functionalism and art. With a wide range of influences from architecture to nature, my intent is to create objects that speak with the vocabulary of man and nature, machine and craft, zen simplicity and rich complexity. My hope is that my objects engage the mind as well as the heart.

My recent focus has been on the vase as a vessel/container and sculptural form. But, I am also exploring other forms including bowls, pitchers, plates and lamps, and continue to develop new glazes, materials and techniques.

Currently I am only carrying my work (David Lloyd Warren) on this site, but may carry the work of others in the future.
